NIAGARA FALLS
STATE PARK - In addition to the Falls themselves which never stop, several
attractions around the falls on the American side are open:
- Gorge Trip - a shortened
Cave of the Winds trip operates from Goat Island at the reduced price
of $3.00 per person.
- The viewing platform of
the Observation Tower is open.
- The Information Center
is open and staffed to help you.
- The viewmobile runs near
the Falls to take you to the various view points. There is NO charge
for this during the winter. The viewmobile also serves the parking
lot of the Discovery Center (which is closed during the winter months).
- There is no charge at the parking lots on Goat Island during the winter.
THE NIAGARA FALLS PUBLIC
LIBRARY is displaying 35 large prints from glass-plate photographs taken
around 1903. The exhibition is entitled "Niagara in Winter"
and will promote gratitude for Central Heating. Exhibit is on second
floor of the Main Library at Portage and Main Streets.
THE AQUARIUM OF NIAGARA is
open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM..
THE AEROSPACE MUSEUM is open
10 AM to 4 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
THE SENECA NIAGARA CASINO
never closes. There are restaurants in the Casino and the hotel.
THE POWER VISTA OF THE POWER
PROJECT is open daily 9 AM to 5 PM
THE CASTELLANI ART MUSEUM
- NIAGARA UNIVERSITY is open from 1 PM to 5 PM Sunday, 11 AM to 5 PM
on other days.
FORT NIAGARA - YOUNGSTOWN
NY opens daily at 9 AM and the last tickets sold at 4 PM.
